Advanced, High Efficiency and Absolute-Rated Polypropylene Depth Filters
For manufacturers seeking greater dirt- holding capacity and longer service life, Shelco Filters announces the introduction of its new PDA and PDH Series Polypropylene Depth Filters. These filters were developed for critical applications requiring absolute (99.9%) or high retention (90%) efficiencies in an economical, melt-blown depth filter cartridge.
Each cartridge is constructed of 100% polypropylene melt blown microfibers, thermally bonded over a rigid center core to provide superior particle retention and greater stability under differential pressures. An advanced melt blown manufacturing process forms the microfibers into multiple zones to produce a true gradient density fixed pore structure.
The PDA and PDH Series Filters are rated in 0.5 through 75 microns retention efficiencies, and are available in standard lengths and end cap configurations to fit most filter housings. All filters are produced with FDA approved polypropylene to meet CFR requirements in a clean manufacturing environment under rigorous quality control standards. The PDA Absolute Rated Series filters are lot traceable and are shipped with a certificate of conformance for stringent quality applications.
Founded in 1973, Shelco (www.shelco.com) offers one of the most extensive lines of filter housings and disposable cartridges and bags sold throughout the world. The company’s products serve countless industrial and high-purity applications, including water and other process liquids and gases for the food and beverages, chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, plating, paints and coatings, and other industrial markets.
